This week sees the return of one of our favorite collabs, Waterbury Jams, along with a new Pale Ale, Zumo Zoom Zoom. See below for more details!
Waterbury Jams | Collab w/ Prohibition Pig | NE style DIPA | Juicy, Hoppy & Tropical | 4pk Cans & Draft
Our collaboration with our good friends from Vermont, Prohibiton Pig, Waterbury Jams is an 8% NE style DIPA. Starting with blend of bases from both breweries, we then Triple Dry Hopped this beer extensively with Citra and Mosaic plus a heavy dose of Nelson Sauvin (one of the ProPig’s favorite hops to use). Pouring a saturated golden-yellow, we’re getting huge notes of fresh crushed white grapes, orange and tangerine citrus juices, and slightly overripe pineapple.
Zumo Zoom Zoom | NE style Pale Ale | Juicy, Hazy & Citrusy | 4pk Cans & Draft
Zumo Zoom Zoom is a 5.5% NE style Pale Ale. We hit this one with a Double Dry Hopping of fresh Citra along with a new hop, Zumo. Zumo is a hop we’ve been eager to try since last year, after our friends at KCBC raved about it during our collaboration brew. It’s a fresh variety from Segal Hop Ranch—the same grower behind another new favorite of ours, Anchovy. Known for its bold lime zest and citrusy flavors, we thought it would pair perfectly with Citra. Pouring this beer in a glass reveals a saturated yellow-orange color liquid and upon tasting we’re finding notes of lemon-lime, orange marmalade, citrus peel, and passion fruit.
