We are proud to announce our new partnership with The New Jersey Section, PGA of America (NJPGA)!
Since its founding in 1916, The PGA of America has maintained a twofold mission: to establish and elevate the standards of the profession and to grow interest and participation in the game of golf. The award-winning NJPGA has been in operation since 1925 and is one of the forty-one geographic sections throughout the country. We are very excited to participate in this new venture with such a prestigious local institution and to bring two of our favorite things, beer and golf, closer together.
Our new partnership has us serving as the official sponsor for the popular Pro Pro Championship to be held at the Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway Township, N.J. on Monday & Tuesday, April 8th & 9th. We will also serve as an Official Supplier for The Charity Clambake. The Charity Clambake continues to be a premier event that pairs one PGA of America Professional with one Amateur partner in a team event modeled after the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. Annually held at one of the top venues in the Section, the 2024 event will be held at the Hollywood Golf Club from May 20th to 22nd.
Also, as part of the sponsorship, our beer, Up & Down, will become the official beer of the NJPGA and will receive special branding on its label!
Up & Down is a New England-style IPA inspired by our love for golf. This beer was designed for cart crushing during an 18-hole session with friends! It has a lighter 6.5% ABV but is packed with tons of juicy hop flavor. Dry Hopped with Mosaic and El Dorado, Up & Down has tropical-tasting notes reminiscent of freshly mashed blueberries, ripe papaya, light pear, and juicy pineapple.
