We have THREE fresh hoppy beers now available at the taproom and our online shop for home delivery & pick up. First up is a returning recent favorite, Tropical Hop Burst. Our second and third beers are two all-new offerings, Tape Echo and a new collab, Doppelbangrs: Gathering Clouds. See below for more details!
Tropical Hop Burst is our 6.5% ABV NE style IPA. As the name suggests, this one is PACKED with tropical hop flavor! To create flavors and aromas of bright fresh fruits and transport you to the sunny white sands of a Caribbean beach, we Double Dry Hopped this beer with Nectaron and an exciting new hop… Luminosa! Pouring a soft golden-yellow color, we’re finding a huge assortment of tropical fruit notes like peach-mango lemonade, candied orange peel, ripe pineapple, papaya, and fresh guava.
Hoppy notes reverberate with each sip in our new 8% DIPA, Tape Echo! Brewed with Chit Malt for enhanced body and head retention, we hit this one with a massive Double Dry Hopping of Citra, Mosaic, Nectaron, and Simcoe Cryo using our “Low Temperature Hop Burst” technique. Expect this DIPA to be super soft with very little bitterness! Pouring a yellow-orange color, we’re finding notes reminiscent of stone fruit, freshly peeled oranges, ripe blueberries, juicy strawberries, and pineapple slices.
East Coast post up and take shelter… Clouds stay gathering and they can’t be stopped! Brix and Twin, two forces combined. Heavy winds are a check and we’re ready to drop a monstrous brew for y’all to stay sippin’! That’s right, we’re back at it again with our friends Twin Elephant Brewing to bring you the newest entry to our Doppelbängers series, Doppelbängers: Gathering Clouds. With Twin showing us the secrets to their recipe, this is our take on their legendary hoppy beer. Originally an IPA, we bumped up the ABV slightly to 7.5% taking it to DIPA levels. Brewed with Spelt to make the beer softer and slightly sweeter, we layed down a massive Double Dry Hopping of Rakau, Motueka, and Vic Secret to create a perfect storm of bright tropical flavors. Pouring this beer into a glass reveals an opaque tangerine color and upon sipping we’re getting hit with notes of fresh squeezed OJ, ripe passion fruit, zesty lemon-lime, and sweet caramelized pineapple with a slightly dank finish to round everything out.
